JUST ANOTHER TEACHER'S DAY WISH - S B AMALJITH

Teaching is not just a profession. It is one of the most noble acts known to man kind. Jesus Christ, though he cured illness was not called a doctor, he brought back the dead but he wasn't called a magician, but he tought us the way the truth and the  life and he was called teacher lovingly and respectfully by his desciples. Teaching is the process of sharing knowledge. And  so if it was not for a teacher, or rather if everybody was really selfish enough to keep their  knowledge to themselves,no one would have ever learned anything. So  simply, teacher is not someone who has a string of degrees and qualifications following their name, but anybody who has the willingness to share what they know, to someone who doesnt.

A teacher should not only be ready to accept mistakes of their students, but also to encourage them to commit mistakes. Yeah, you heard me right,Only when you commit a mistake you will know what is right, and how not to ever repeat them again, and a teacher is the one who will show you what is right and what is wrong.

And on this day from the bottom of my heart, I wish all my teachers and mentors a very happy teacher's day.
